Zacamil’s Rebirth
Zacamil, a corner of El Salvador once held hostage by fear, is undergoing a miraculous transformation. In this neighborhood, where gangs once ruled and violence kept families locked inside their homes, the streets were silent, windows shuttered, and the future felt like an impossible dream. Stepping outside was a gamble; children didn’t play, neighbors avoided eye contact, and the gray, weathered buildings mirrored a past steeped in pain and resignation. But today, Zacamil is writing a new chapter—a story of hope and renewal—and TB Club is proud to be part of this epic transformation.
Bitcoin Mural Ignites Freedom
In February 2025, members of the TerraBitcoin Club left an indelible mark during our journey to El Salvador. With €10,000 raised and donated to the CMS Foundation, we turned a drab, time-worn building into a vibrant canvas: a mural dedicated to Bitcoin, a beacon of economic freedom and hope. This masterpiece was crafted by Satoshigallery, the most iconic artist in the Bitcoin space, whose globally celebrated Satoshi statues have captured the world’s attention, amplifying the significance of our support and this project. This isn’t just a painting—it’s a manifesto of rebirth. Our members picked up brushes and paint, etching Satoshi Nakamoto’s code onto the wall in a profound act of unity that bridged hearts and cultures. Every line of code painted is a step forward: a neighborhood rising, a community rediscovering itself, and a future built together.
Street Art Heals the Community
The transformation doesn’t stop there. Other buildings in Zacamil are coming alive, morphing into open-air galleries through the talent of local and international artists. Each mural tells a story of resilience, a cry for freedom, and an embrace of community. Bold, vibrant colors are erasing the gray veil of fear, carrying messages of possibility and hope. Thanks to our community’s support, the CMS Foundation is funding new urban art projects, public space revitalization, and youth training programs, empowering the next generation to dream big and build a brighter future.
